Liberty Bay Credit Union and State Treasurer Tim Cahill's Financial Education Department have teamed up with Tim Thomas, 985 The Sports Hub and the Boston Bruins Radio Network to help educate kids on the importance of saving for higher education. One winner will be selected each week from K-12.
The weekly winners will have their names read during the Boston Bruins Radio broadcast on WBZ FM 98.5 The Sports Hub.
All weekly winners will receive a limited edition autographed photo of Tim Thomas and qualify to have him visit their school at the end of the season. The grand prize winner also receives a $7,500 scholarship toward college.
